Conceria Prima was established in 1976 by Mr. Angelo Pagni, now company's chef executive officer.
The first products realized in the tannery were the chrome tanning "side" and the vegetable
tanning "side" which were addressed to the European market.
In 1985 the manufacture of the chrome tanning half-calf for footwear and leatherwear started and
in 2000 it became the only product as the "side" manufacturing finished.
In 2000 the present plan was built and it was the first one of the new industrial area of Santa
Croce sull'Arno.
